Winter

Today after lunch I planted some Gardenia bushes.  They aren't blooming but I'm hoping to see some buds soon.

p.s. Is it too early to be thinking about winter?  I'm looking forward to fall and cooler weather.

A Lady getting ready to paint

I love the brushwork in this painting - and also what she is wearing.  When it gets cooler I am going to try plein air painting.

Wish I knew who the artist was...there was no artist's name on the site where I found the image.
